Three Designing Women has its beginnings in late 2004, when co-founder Lynn Fleck needed a year-end gift idea for clients of her Graphic Design firm. The idea for a personalized stamp occurred while she was designing a corporate logo – it was from that idea that she created individual personalized stamps for everyone on her client list.

The Personalized Stamps were an immediate hit - as soon as the gifts were delivered, the phone started ringing, and recipients were asking for more stamps – for their girlfriends, mothers, daughters, co-workers, etc.

Realizing that she had a marketable idea, Lynn decided to call on a previous client who had heavy retail industry experience. Lynn had enjoyed a 5 year client relationship with co-founder Lori Eddleman, who had the perfect qualifications. Even better, Lori had just resigned from her position with the Dallas Market Center as Senior VP of Marketing to begin a consulting business for the Gift industry.

With 5 years experience at the Dallas Market Center and additional 7 years at AmericasMart in Atlanta, Lori had the perfect knowledge and the connections to help launch the new product.

Three Designing Women debuted at the National Stationery Show in New York in May 2005 – the premier wholesale market for upscale stationery products. While the original line was based on Single Initial stamps and stationery – perfect for an immediate in-store purchase – within minutes of the show opening it was clear that the personalized stamps were going to be the cornerstone of the product line.

Since its debut, Three Designing Women has enjoyed incredible publicity - appearances on NBC’s Today Show, Good Morning America, and the Tyra Banks show. The line has been featured in numerous other media outlets, including InStyle, Brides, RedBook, Domino and Better Homes & Gardens magazines.

Three Designing Women can now be found in over 2000 stores around the country and is available through select on-line retailers.

Lori and Lynn continue to build on the success of the line – introducing new personalized and Single Initial designs, embossers, and a full line of InSTAMPables^TM – paper products that are intended to be stamped to create personalized stationery, gift and wine tags, and more.
